Acceptance of terms
By using BTCCalc (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
Service description
BTCCalc provides free, web-based financial and cryptocurrency calculators, along with currency converters. All tools are provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind.
No warranty
Our calculators are for informational and educational purposes. We make every effort to keep the formulas accurate, but we make no guarantees about:
- Accuracy: We test our formulas against reference values, but you should verify any critical financial decision independently, ideally with a licensed professional.
- Availability: We aim for high uptime but don’t guarantee the Service will always be accessible.
- Fitness for a specific purpose: These tools estimate outcomes based on the inputs you provide. They do not account for every fee, tax rule, or market condition that could apply to your specific situation. See our Disclaimer for more on financial advice limitations.
Limitation of liability
Under no circumstances shall BTCCalc or its operators be liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to:
- Financial losses resulting from decisions based on calculator output
- Losses related to cryptocurrency trading, mining, or investment decisions
- Service interruptions or inaccuracies in displayed data
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape or crawl the site at rates exceeding normal human browsing (search engine crawlers such as Googlebot and Bingbot are explicitly permitted)
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying source code of the calculators
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Submit inputs designed to disrupt or exploit the Service
Intellectual property
The calculator implementations (JavaScript logic and page content) on this site are original work. The underlying formulas (amortization, compound interest, PMT, XIRR, and similar) are standard mathematical and financial methods and are not proprietary to us.

Pages on this site may link to external resources for further reading. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
