How BTCCalc handles your data. No account, no tracking cookies, no analytics -- every calculation runs in your browser and stays on your device.

How the calculators actually work
Every calculator on BTCCalc – mortgage, loan, retirement, Bitcoin mining, tax, and the rest – runs as JavaScript inside your browser. When you type a number into a field, that number is used immediately to compute a result on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, because nothing needs to be: the math doesn’t require our servers at all.
You can verify this yourself: open your browser’s developer tools (F12), go to the Network tab, and use any calculator. You will not see an outbound request carrying your inputs.
Server logs
Like any website, our web server keeps a basic access log: request path, timestamp, status code, and a truncated IP address (last octet removed). This is standard infrastructure logging used for security and uptime monitoring, not for tracking individuals. Logs are rotated and deleted within 30 days.
Third-party services
We self-host our fonts and do not load third-party JavaScript beyond what’s needed to render the page. We do not use a CDN-based analytics or advertising service.
Cookies
BTCCalc does not set tracking cookies. Any cookie strictly required for basic site functionality (if used) does not identify you personally and is not shared with third parties.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, regardless of age, because we don’t collect information at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
